E1/F1 - Brake Sensors FaultyUpdated 2 months ago
E1/ F1 – Brake sensors faulty
What does the error mean?
The error codes F1 or E1 indicate an error in the electric recuperation brake sensor. While error F1 means that the system's self-test failed, E1 indicates an error during operation.
The F1 error usually occurs when a brake lever is pressed while the scooter is starting. Please make sure that you do not pull any levers or press any buttons for the first few seconds after starting the scooter.
The cause of error E2 is usually a communication problem between the brake lever and the display, for example due to a loose plug connection or damage to the sensor in the brake lever.
How can the error be fixed?
If you are under warranty, please contact us using the service form or your dealer. We take a thorough look at the scooter and check the sources of errors.
We will be happy to take care of your case even outside the warranty period or after accident damage. Alternatively, you can check the wiring yourself and order a new brake lever.
Attention: The cause of the error can lie both in the recuperation brake (right) and in the combination brake (left). Both brakes control the engine brake electronically.
But you do not have to worry, the mechanical drum brake has no electronic components, so the main braking system is fully operational in any case, even if you have an F1 / E1 error
