How do you store your VMAX correctly?Updated a month ago

How do you store your VMAX correctly?

If your scooter will be unused for an extended period, follow these tips to ensure it’s ready for use when you’re ready to ride again. Be sure to also refer to the information in your user manual for additional guidance.

  1. Battery care

To maximize the lifespan of your lithium-ion battery, avoid exposing it to extreme conditions. This means you should not let the battery become completely empty or fully charged for extended periods. Before storing your scooter, charge the battery to around 60% to help preserve its health. Additionally, connect the scooter to the charger every four weeks to maintain this charge level. Avoid prolonged deep discharges, as they can cause permanent damage to the battery.

  2. The right place

For optimal storage, avoid storing your VMAX in areas that are too hot or too cold. Extremely low temperatures, especially those below freezing, can damage both the battery and the motor. Choose a storage location that is dry, clean, and free from excessive dust. If possible, store your scooter in its original box to help protect it from dust.

  3.  Air pressure

The air pressure in the tire depends on the ambient temperature. If your scooter is inflated at very low temperatures, the pressure in the tire will increase as soon as the tire warms up. Therefore, avoid very high (and very low) pressures when storing your scooter.
Ensure you do not ride the scooter with flat tires under any circumstances. This can cause damage to the tires, wheels and wheel-bearings.
