If you want to enhance the security of your VMAX scooter, you can set a password directly through the TFT display. In this quick guide, you’ll learn how to enable, change, and disable the password feature step by step.
Steps:
Go to User Settings → Personalized Parameter Settings using the gear and arrow buttons on the handlebar.
To enable the password, enter the current password (default:
1234), then set your new password.To change the password, enter the old one first, then input the new password.
To disable the password, enter the current password and toggle the feature off.
To save changes, press and hold the gear button for 3 seconds.
Always restart the scooter after making changes to ensure the new settings take effect.
⚠️ Important: Do not press “OK” after entering a new password — simply hold the gear button instead to avoid resetting the input.
Good to Know:
The default password is 1234, but we strongly recommend changing it.
The system will ask for the current password when enabling or modifying it — this helps prevent accidental lockouts.
Testing password functionality by turning the scooter off and on is essential after any changes.
