Whether you're sending your scooter to us for maintenance or transferring it to a new owner after a private sale, please keep the following points in mind:
Shipping only in original box
We generally ask you to keep the original box. We will not accept service cases that do not arrive in the original box. Exceptions may be made in the case of warranty cases.
In any case, it is important to adhere to the girth measurement. The girth measurement is the circumference of the package + the longest edge (that means 2 * (height + width) + length = girth measurement). This must not significantly exceed the dimensions of the original box and must in any case be less than 300 cm. Exceeding this can lead to significant additional costs, which we must pass on to the sender.Shipping secured against transport damage
The original packaging can help ensure damage-free shipping, provided that certain precautions are taken:- Secure fragile parts (e.g. your rear light) sufficiently against external impacts. Also, ensure this protection stays in place even if the box is moved suddenly.
- Secure the scooter against movement in the box. The scooter must not be able to move backward and forwards in the closed box, nor should it be able to "jump" upwards.
- Secure all individual parts to prevent movement during shipping. Remove the handlebars from the front bar and place both components in the box. Ensure that the brake levers are positioned to avoid contact with any surfaces and that the metal of the handlebars does not come into contact with the metal of the front bar. Additionally, the lock should be properly fastened to prevent any slipping during transit.
Accessories and modifications
Before sending any accessories to us, please contact us to discuss the situation. Unless your accessories are suspected to be a contributing factor to the issue requiring service, we recommend keeping all accessories with you. This applies to both original accessories and any parts you have installed yourself. Please note that we cannot guarantee the return of any accessories sent to us.
Additionally, unless explicitly agreed upon beforehand, we cannot accept liability for any accessories you send. While we appreciate tasteful customizations to your vehicle especially when shared on social media, please understand that our workshop cannot guarantee that such modifications will remain undamaged during servicing.
