You need
- Open-end wrench 21 mm
- Allen key 2.5 mm
- Allen key 3 mm
- Phillips
- Optional: spray adhesive or hot glue
- Optional: Thread (2m)
If you want to change the coat, you will need
- Mounting lever (2 pieces)
- Tire mounting paste
- compressor
Removing the engine
- First, remove the rear axle cover
- Then disconnect the motor plug
- If you now remove both nuts, you can take the motor out downwards.
Tire change
To change the tire, take the motor and place it on a stable surface or clamp it. Be careful not to damage the axle or the cable attachment.
- Lubricate the tire generously with appropriate assembly paste.
- Deflate the tire completely
- Carefully place the mounting lever on the tire.
- Pry the tire off the rim piece by piece.
- Disconnect the valve from the axle and remove the hose
- Clean the inside of the rim if necessary.
- Place the new tube on the rim. Make sure that it is not twisted
- Attach the valve of the new hose
- Lubricate the rim and the new tire again with assembly paste
- Put the new tire back on the rim using the mounting levers
- Pump up the tire with the compressor to about 3.5 bar. Then let the air out of the tire if necessary.
- Remove all residues of assembly paste.
