- Tire mounting paste
- compressor
- Optional: cable ties (3 pieces)
Depending on whether you want to change the front or rear tire, first consult the instructions for disassembling the corresponding wheel. To change the tire, take the motor and place it on a stable surface or clamp it. Be careful not to damage the axle or the cable attachment.
- Lubricate the tire generously with appropriate assembly paste.
- Deflate the tire completely
- Carefully place the mounting lever on the tire.
- Pry the tire off the rim piece by piece.
- Clean the inside of the rim if necessary.
- Lubricate the rim and the new tire again with assembly paste
- Put the new tire back on the rim using the tire levers.
Tip : If you pull one half of the tire together with 3 cable ties, it will be easier to lever it onto the rim. - Pump up the tire with the compressor to about 3 bar. Then let the air out of the tire if necessary.
- Remove all residues of assembly paste.
