Changing the display coverUpdated 5 months ago
You need
- Allen key 2.5 mm
- Allen key 3 mm
- Allen key 5 mm
- small Phillips screwdriver
To remove the display cover, you must first push both decorative tubes to the left and right of the display mount to the side.
To do this, loosen the switch for the indicator and the brake lever on the right side. You don't have to completely loosen the screws - just loosen them enough so that you can move the elements on the handlebars.
There is slightly less space on the handlebar on the left side.
To create enough space here, we start with the indicator, loosen it and pull it off the handlebar end
We can then move the plastic handle slightly outwards and release the thumb throttle and brake lever.
Now all 4 screws of the display cover are exposed. You can now remove these and put on a new cover.
You can then simply remove the cover and install a new one.
