Required Tools:

• Allen key 2.5 mm
• Allen key 3 mm
• Phillips screwdriver
• Shrink tubing (alternatively insulating tape)
• Hot air dryer or lighter
• Scissors or knife
• OPTIONAL: Spray adhesive or hot glue

Loosen the mudguard screw connection by loosening the four screws on the mudguard. Loosen the brace by removing the rear axle cover. 

Now, remove the rubber mat from the running board. Then, remove the running board cover. 

Remove the cable protection inside the running board and find the cable for the rear light. Loosen the shrink tubing here and unplug the rear light. 

Disconnect the tail light wiring inside the mudguard.
